West Side Story
The Creative Team include leading West End Actor and Director Anna Tringham, Leading composer, conductor and Musical Director, Conor Mitchell, Choreographer, Katie Schoen.
The production will start rehearsals on Monday 16 July, with performances through until Saturday 4 August 2018.
Auditions will be held at the Theatre at the Mill on Sunday 21 January 2018 at 12.00pm.
NT Connections 2018: Ceasefire Babies
Connections is the National Theatre’s annual festival of New Plays for Youth Theatres.
Patsy Hughes will direct Newtownabbey Homespun Youth Theatre in a new production of Ceasefire Babies.
AUDITIONS – Saturday 7 January 2018 at 2.30pm
Rehearsals will take place each Saturday from 12.30 – 2.30pm. The production will give young people experience of professional theatre-making. Their experience mirrors that of a company producing a new play in any theatre in the country. This production will include two performances in our theatre and a performance at the Lyric Theatre as part of a three day festival, during which the young people will be invited to additional workshops with Theatre Professionals and meet other Youth Theatres from across the country. This is a huge opportunity for the young people and not to be missed.
