Yarns Bistro, the perfect location for your pre-theatre dining experience
Visitors can enjoy a modern pre-theatre dining experience in Yarns Bistro accompanied by a specially selected wine list. The menu served up by Head Chef Gareth Curran incorporates classic dishes using the best of locally sourced produce.
Set in the restored 19th Century Mossley Mill and with its extensive windows, guests can dine in magnificent surroundings in the 60 seat bistro located on Level 1, a short walk from the theatre.
Yarns Bistro is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:30pm – 7:30pm allowing adequate time for you to enjoy your meal before taking your seat in time for the start of theatre’s programme. Last orders are at 6:30pm.
How to Book
The restaurant is open for reservations only. Bookings must be made in advance by calling the Bistro on 028 9034 0022 (Lines are open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm).

Yarns Bar the ideal setting for theatre drinks
Yarns Bar is situated in the theatre foyer and overlooks the Civic Square, allowing visitors to relax in the unique surroundings. The extensive bar area and windows running along the length of the foyer makes it a stylish and contemporary location to enjoy a pre theatre drink.
The bar opens 1 hour and 15 mins before the show starts, offering an extensive range of drinks including hot, cold and alcoholic beverages.
Interval Drink Orders
Beat the interval queue by pre-ordering your drinks at Yarns Bar on arrival. Simply place and pay for your order before the show starts and you will be given a number. At the interval, your drinks will be waiting for you at the collection point with your corresponding number allowing you more time to enjoy the interlude.

Yarns Coffee Halt the perfect pause to enjoy a weekend coffee
Yarns Coffee Halt is open during the day on Saturday and Sundays and is popular with walkers and cyclists using the Newtownabbey Way. Offering a range of hot and cold drinks plus freshly baked scones and tray bakes, visitors can enjoy a relaxing treat.
Dog walkers are very welcome and supplies of fresh water are available for our four legged visitors.
Yarns Coffee Halt is open Saturday and Sunday’s from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
